After spending over 17 years refining her detailed artistic techniques on Hollywood Celebrities , award winning makeup artist Shauna Magrath, with over 45 film and television credits to her name, has turned her attention to you. With her diverse background, unique skills and attention to detail, she will custom create the look you desire, raising your confidence and self-esteem.
Using only the safest medical products, finest organic materials and state-of-the-art medical-grade equipment, Shauna has mastered the art of micro-pigmentation: permanent cosmetics that are natural on the body with gentle, yet stunning effects.
Shauna began her ascent to the top of the television and film industry in 1993, and over the years you’ve seen her work in such shows as The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, and Men in Trees. Throughout her career she has transformed Celebrities on the silver screen in movies like Blade Trinity, The Sixth Day, In the Land of Women and Twilight-Eclipse. As one of the industry’s in-demand artists, Shauna’s work was recognized by the Academy of Film and Television with Emmy honors for Outstanding Make up with her make up fx contribution to the critically acclaimed Mini-Series, Tin Man. Tin Man also received a Leo Award for best make up fx in a Mini Series that same year.
Far from just a make-up artist for A-list celebrities, Shauna strives to help everyone look naturally glamorous, and has never stopped working towards realizing that dream. In 2008 she became certified in Permanent Cosmetics by Canada’s most prestigious institute, the Canadian Micro-Pigmentation Center in Toronto. She now combines her artistic expertise, acute attention to detail, and micro-pigmentation training to help everyone achieve their own empowering natural beauty.
Throughout her career Shauna has received accolades and has been accepted into numerous professional organizations. She is an active member of : The Vancouver Board of Trade, The Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals, The Royal Canadian Legion, and The Forum for Women Entrepreneurs. As well, she is certified with honors in Make-up and FX from Complections International School of Make-up and currently teaches part time at the internationally renowned Vancouver Film School.
